The Great Basin Sharp Shooters, in conjunction with the Central Oregon Sports Shooting Association (COSSA), hold monthly rifle matches at the range located on 600 acres of BLM land that is currently leased to COSSA. The rifle matches include:

• Long-range buffalo matches (black powder)
• World War II and earlier military rifle matches (breech-loading or bolt-action)
• Lever-action rifle matches
• Vintage 22 and 25 cal. single shot rifle matches

Lead bullets required for all matches except military bolt.

Directions to the range:

From Bend, head east on Hwy 20 and go past mile post 24. Take the first road on the left.
