Great Basin Sharpshooters Changes For The 2018 Season

The big change will be that we will have a larger and longer covered firing line. It will not only offer better cover from the elements, but allow for more shooters. With that improvement we are going to make a change in the Buffalo and Mid Range matches. These changes will not affect the rest of the matches and they will stay as they are.

We are adding an Open Class to the Buffalo and Mid Range matches, to be shot at the same time with those matches. This will allow those not wanting to dress in period clothing or other guidelines to participate in a class less restrictive.

Our thinking is that the better facilities and changes will encourage more shooters.

Both of the class explanations and rules are posted on our website under the link – 2018 Buffalo Class Changes.

October 2017 Match Results

Headline news:  Jeff passed away from a sudden illness in September and we have dedicated our new flag in his memory. The annual Adobe Walls Battle in June will be renamed to add his name to it and we are also planning a memorial to him at the battle next year.

Here are the results of the October match.
